On Thursday evening, the Los Angeles Lakers will host the Charlotte Hornets in California.
For the game, the Lakers could be without one of their best players, as Anthony Davis is on the injury report.

Davis has played in 29 games so far this season and is averaging 24.9 points, 12.4 rebounds, 3.2 assists, 1.1 steals and 2.5 blocks per contest while shooting 54.7% from the field and 40.7% from the three-point range.
The Lakers are the ninth seed in the Western Conference with a 16-15 record in their first 31 games.
They are 4-6 over their last ten games and most recently lost to the Boston Celtics by a score of 126-115.
In 39 minutes of playing time, Davis had 40 points, 13 rebounds, four assists and one block while shooting 15/26 from the field and 2/4 from the three-point range.
Following the Hornets, the Lakers will visit Anthony Edwards and the Minnesota Timberwolves at the Target Center on Saturday.
As for the Hornets, they are the 13th seed in the Eastern Conference with a 7-21 record in their first 28 games.
They are 1-9 over their last ten games and in the middle of an eight-game losing streak.
Most recently, the Hornets lost to the Los Angeles Clippers by a score of 113-104.
Following the Lakers, they will visit Kevin Durant and the Phoenix Suns on Friday evening in Arizona.
On the road, the Hornets are 3-10 in 13 games.
