Davis is in his 11th season in the NBA and is one of the best forwards of all time.

This is his fourth season with the Lakers, and he helped lead the franchise to the 2020 NBA Championship.

During the 2023 NBA Playoffs, Davis has been sensational, with averages of 21.2 points, 14.1 rebounds, 2.7 assists, 1.4 steals and 3.3 blocks per contest while shooting 53.0% from the field.

He has been arguably the best player on the team and the top defender in the league through his 12 games of the postseason.

The Lakers finished the regular season as the seventh seed in the Western Conference, but they have one of the most talented rosters in the league.

In the first two rounds, they beat the Memphis Grizzlies (who were the second seed) and the Golden State Warriors (who were the defending NBA Champions).

As for the Nuggets, they are the first seed and defeated the Minnesota Timberwolves and Phoenix Suns in the first two rounds.

During the regular season, the Lakers and Nuggets each went 2-2 in four matchups.
