Anthony Davis' Injury Status For Suns-Lakers Game

Anthony Davis is on the injury report for Friday's game.

On Friday night, the Los Angeles Lakers are hosting the Phoenix Suns in California.

For the game, they could be without one of their best players, as Anthony Davis is on the injury report listed as questionable due to a foot injury.

The former Kentucky star has had a sensational season with averages of 26.3 points, 12.4 rebounds, 2.6 assists, 1.0 steals and 2.0 blocks per contest in 54 games while shooting 56.8% from the field.  

He is in his 11th season in the NBA and his fourth playing for the Lakers. 

Right now, they are the seventh seed in the Western Conference with a 41-39 record in 80 games. 

They are 7-3 in their last ten games and a solid 21-18 in the 39 games they have hosted on their home floor in Los Angeles, California. 

In 2020, Davis helped lead the Lakers to their first NBA Championship since 2010, but they are coming off a season where they went just 33-49 and missed the postseason. 

As for the Suns, they are the fourth seed in the west with a 45-35 record in 80 games. 

They are in the middle of a seven-game winning streak and are 7-3 in their last ten games. 

On the road, the Suns have struggled, going just 17-23 in the 40 games they have played away from Arizona. 

Last season, they lost in the second round of the NBA Playoffs to the Dallas Mavericks in seven games.
