UPDATE: Anthony Edwards' Injury Status For Timberwolves-Heat Game

Anthony Edwards is on the injury report for Monday's game.

On Monday evening, the Minnesota Timberwolves will be in Florida to face off against the Miami Heat.  

For the game, they could be without one of their best players, as Anthony Edwards is on the injury report.

 Edwards has played in 21 games so far this season and is averaging 24.2 points, 5.3 rebounds, 5.1 assists and 1.3 steals per contest while shooting 44.7% from the field and 39.4% from the three-point range. 

The Timberwolves are among the best teams in the NBA with a 19-5 record in their first 24 games, which has them as the first seed in the Western Conference. 

They are in the middle of a two-game winning streak and are 8-2 over their last ten games. 

Most recently, the Timberwolves defeated the Indiana Pacers by a score of 127-109. 

In 34 minutes of playing time, Edwards had 37 points, two rebounds, four assists and three steals while shooting 14/23 from the field and 7/10 from the three-point range.

As for the Heat, they are 15-11 in their first 26 games, which has them as the fifth seed in the Eastern Conference. 

They are 5-5 over their last ten games and most recently defeated DeMar DeRozan and the Chicago Bulls by a score of 118-116.
