Bam Adebayo's Injury Status For Timberwolves-Heat Game

Bam Adebayo is available for Monday's game.

On Monday evening, the Miami Heat will host the Minnesota Timberwolves in Florida. 

For the game, the Heat will have one of their best players back in action, as starting center Bam Adebayo is available.   

The two-time NBA All-Star had missed each of the previous seven games, so this will be a significant boost to the team.  

Via The Heat on Sunday: "#MINvsMIA INJURY UPDATE: Tyler Herro (ankle) and Bam Adebayo (hip) are both available to play in tomorrow night's game vs the Wolves. 

Kyle Lowry (soreness) has been ruled out."

Adebayo has played in 16 games so far this season and is averaging 22.2 points, 9.9 rebounds, 3.9 assists and 1.2 steals per contest while shooting 52.2% from the field and 33.3% from the three-point range. 

The Heat are 15-11 in their first 26 games, which has them as the fifth seed in the Eastern Conference. 

They are 5-5 over their last ten games and most recently defeated the Chicago Bulls by a score of 118-116. 

Following the Timberwolves, the Heat will play their next game on Wednesday evening when they visit the Orlando Magic.  

As for the Timberwolves, they are among the best teams in the NBA, with a 19-5 record in their first 24 games.  

They are the first seed in the Western Conference and 8-2 over their last ten games (they are also in the middle of a two-game winning streak).  

Following the Heat, the Timberwolves will play their next game on Wednesday when they visit the Philadelphia 76ers.
