Ben Simmons' Injury Status For Cavs-Nets Game

Ben Simmons has been ruled out for Tuesday’s game.

On Tuesday evening, the Brooklyn Nets are hosting the Cleveland Cavaliers at Barclays Center in New York.

For the game, they will remain without one of their best players, as Ben Simmons has been ruled out.

The former LSU star has missed 13 games in a row, so this will be his 14th straight out of action.

Simmons had been in the middle of a solid season with averages of 6.9 points, 6.3 rebounds, 6.1 assists and 1.3 steals per contest in 42 games (while shooting 56.6% from the field).

He is in his first full season playing for the Nets after getting traded (via the Philadelphia 76ers) last year.

Before missing the entire 2021-22 season, Simmons had been an NBA All-Star three times in a row.

Right now, the Nets are the sixth seed in the Eastern Conference with a 39-32 record in 71 games.

They are on a three-game losing streak and 5-5 in their last ten games.

At home, the Nets have been good, going 19-14 in the 33 games they have hosted at Barclays Center in New York.

As for the Cavs, they are the fourth seed in the Eastern Conference with a 45-28 record in 73 games.

They are 7-3 in their last ten games and have been one of the best teams in the NBA all season long.

That said, the Cavs are just 16-20 in the 36 games they have played on the road away from Ohio.

Last season, they missed the playoffs, while the Nets lost in the first round.
