Boston Celtics Injury Report For Game 6
UPDATE: Malcolm Brogdon has been ruled out.
On Saturday evening, the Boston Celtics will be in Florida to face off against the Miami Heat for Game 6 of the Eastern Conference Finals.
For the game, the Celtics have announced their injury report (updated as of 4:30 Eastern Time).
The Celtics have ruled out Danilo Gallinari, while Malcolm Brogdon is listed as questionable due to a forearm injury.
The Celtics trail the Heat 3-2 in the series, but they have won each of the last two games.
If they are able to survive on Saturday, Game 7 will be back in Boston on Monday night.
No team has ever come back from being down 3-0, so the Celtics have a chance to make miraculous NBA history in the series.
They are the second seed in the Eastern Conference and have defeated the Atlanta Hawks and Philadelphia 76ers through the first two rounds.
Last year, the Celtics made the NBA Finals for the first time since 2010, and they are also in the Conference Finals for the fifth time in the previous seven seasons.
That said, the franchise has not won an NBA Championship since the 2008 season when they still had Kevin Garnett and Paul Pierce on the roster.
As for the Heat, they are the eighth seed but have an elite roster and pulled off wins over the Milwaukee Bucks (the first seed) and the New York Knicks (the fifth seed) in the first two rounds.
Whoever wins the series will advance to the NBA finals and face off against Nikola Jokic and the Denver Nuggets.
