On Friday evening, the Golden State Warriors will host the Washington Wizards at the Chase Center in San Francisco. 

For the game, they could be without one of their best players, as Brandin Podziemski is on the injury report.   

Via Anthony Slater of The Athletic on Thursday: "Brandin Podziemski is questionable against the Wizards tomorrow night with lower back soreness. Left the previous game after taking a hit on a box out."

Podziemski is in his rookie season and has averages of 8.3 points, 5.0 rebounds and 2.6 assists per contest while shooting 45.6% from the field and 40.0% from the three-point range in 21 games (he has also started in each of the previous four games).

The Warriors are 13-14 in their first 27 games, which has them as the 11th seed in the Western Conference.  

They are 5-5 over their last ten games and in the middle of a three-game winning streak. 

Most recently, the Warriors defeated Jayson Tatum and the Boston Celtics (in overtime) by a score of 132-126 on Tuesday. 

Following the Wizards, the Warriors will play their next game on Saturday evening when they host the Portland Trail Blazers at the Chase Center.

As for the Wizards, they are 5-22 in their first 27 games, which has them as the 14th seed in the Eastern Conference. 

They are 2-8 over their last ten games and will play their next game on Tuesday evening when they host Paolo Banchero and the Orlando Magic in Washington, D.C.
