BREAKING: Anthony Davis' Final Injury Status For Warriors-Lakers Game

Anthony Davis has been upgraded to available for Thursday’s game between the Golden State Warriors and Los Angeles Lakers.

The eight-time NBA All-Star is in the middle of another incredible season with averages of 26.0 points, 12.3 rebounds, 2.5 assists, 1.2 steals and 2.0 blocks per contest in 35 games (while shooting 56.2% from the field). 

That said, he has missed 24 games, so his health will be a crucial factor in how the Lakers finish their season. 

Right now, they are the 13th seed in the Western Conference with a 27-32 record in 59 games. 

The Lakers are 4-6 in their last ten games and 14-14 in 28 games hosted at home in Los Angeles. 

With how close the west has been, the Lakers are only 2.0 games back of the Oklahoma City Thunder for the tenth seed (the final play-in tournament spot). 

As for the Warriors, they are the ninth seed in the west with a 29-29 record in 58 games. 

They are 5-5 in their last ten games, but the biggest struggle for the defending NBA Champions has come on the road.

Earlier this month, the Lakers beat the Warriors ( at the Chase Center) 109-103.

Davis had 13 points, 16 rebounds and one assist in 36 minutes of playing time.
