On Tuesday evening, the Minnesota Timberwolves are hosting the Oklahoma City Thunder at the Target Center.
During the game, Anthony Edwards went to the locker room with an injury.
Via Underdog NBA: "Status alert: Anthony Edwards (hip) headed to locker room Tuesday."
Edwards drove to the basket and took a hard fall to the floor.
Edwards came into the evening with averages of 26.6 points, 5.9 rebounds, 5.2 assists and 1.4 steals per contest while shooting 46.6% from the field and 37.0% from the three-point range in 16 games.
The Timberwolves are 12-4 in their first 16 games, which has them as the first seed in the Western Conference.
They most recently defeated the Memphis Grizzlies by a score of 119-97, and Edwards had 35 points, seven rebounds, five assists, two steals and two blocks while shooting 8/21 from the field in 40 minutes.
Following the Thunder, the Timberwolves will play their next game on Thursday evening when they host Collin Sexton and the Utah Jazz.
As for the Thunder, they are the second seed in the Western Conference with an 11-5 record in their first 16 games.
