BREAKING: Jimmy Butler's Final Injury Status For Heat-Knicks Game

Jimmy Butler has been ruled out for Tuesday's game.

On Tuesday evening, the Miami Heat will be in Manhattan to face off with the New York Knicks for Game 2 of their second-round playoff series.

For the game, they will be without their best player, as Jimmy Butler has been ruled out due to an ankle injury.

Butler played 43 minutes in Game 1 and had 25 points, 11 rebounds, four assists and two steals while shooting 8/16 from the field.

The Heat won 108-101, so they can take a commanding 2-0 lead in the series with a victory on Tuesday.

Despite being the eighth seed in the Eastern Conference, they are one of the best teams in the league.

In the first round, the Heat pulled off a major upset over Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Milwaukee Bucks (who were the first seed).

They have been to the Eastern Conference Finals in two out of the previous three seasons (and made the NBA Finals in 2020).

As for the Knicks, they are the fifth seed and defeated the Cleveland Cavaliers in the first round (also in five games).

Following Tuesday's game, the teams will head to Miami for Games 3 and 4.

Whoever wins the series will advance to the Eastern Conference Finals and face off against either the Boston Celtics or the Philadelphia 76ers.

The 76ers have a 1-0 lead, and Game 2 will be played on Wednesday in Boston.
