On Friday evening, the Denver Nuggets will be in Minneapolis to face off against the Minnesota Timberwolves at the Target Center for Game 3 of their first-round playoff series.

For the game, the Nuggets will have their best player in the starting lineup, as Nikola Jokic has been upgraded to available.

Underdog NBA: "Nikola Jokic (wrist) available to play Friday."

The two-time MVP had another sensational regular season with averages of 24.5 points, 11.8 rebounds, 9.8 assists and 1.3 steals per contest in 69 games.

He also shot a stellar 63.2% from the field and 38.3% from the three-point range.

In Game 2, Jokic played 37 minutes and put up 27 points, nine rebounds and nine assists while shooting 10/19 from the field.

The Nuggets come into the night with a commanding 2-0 lead in the series.

That said, the first two games were on their home floor in Denver, and the Nuggets have struggled on the road.

They are 19-22 in the 41 games they have played away from home this season.

Therefore, the Timberwolves, who are 22-19 at the Target Center, will have a chance to make the series interesting.

Last year, the Nuggets dealt with injuries and lost to the Golden State Warriors in the first round.

However, they have one of the most talented rosters in the league, so they have the potential to make a deep run now that they are healthy.

Whoever wins the series will advance to the second round and face off with either the Phoenix Suns or Los Angeles Clippers.
