On Monday evening, the Miami Heat will play Game 5 of the NBA Finals against the Denver Nuggets on the road at Ball Arena in Colorado.

For the game, 2022 6th Man of The Year Tyler Herro, who is one of their best players, has been upgraded to available.

Via Underdog NBA: "Tyler Herro (hand) will play Monday."

The former Kentucky star is one of the team's best players and had been out for nearly two months with a hand injury (he got injured in the first game of the Playoffs).

During the regular season, Herro averaged an impressive 20.1 points, 5.4 rebounds and 4.2 assists per contest while shooting 43.9% from the field and 37.8% from the three-point range.

He is in his fourth season in the NBA (all with the Heat), and has helped them make the Playoffs in all four years (they have been to the Conference Finals three times and Finals twice in that span).

Through the first three rounds, the Heat defeated the Milwaukee Bucks, New York Knicks and Boston Celtics (they also beat the Chicago Bulls in the Play-in tournament).

The franchise is just the second 8th seed in NBA history to reach the Finals.

Currently, the Heat trail the Nuggets 3-1, so a loss would result in the Nuggets winning the 2023 NBA Championship.

That said, a victory would force a Game 6, which would be on Thursday evening back in Miami, Florida.

If there is a Game 7, it would be in Denver on Sunday.
