MASSIVE UPDATE: Brooklyn Nets Injury Report On Saturday
MASSIVE UPDATE: Ben Simmons and Kyrie Irving have both been ruled out.
On Saturday night, the Brooklyn Nets are hosting the Washington Wizards at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.
For the game, the Nets have announced their injury report (updated as of 10:30 Eastern Time).
They have ruled out Kevin Durant, Dru Smith, David Duke Jr. and Kessler Edwards.
Ben Simmons and T.J. Warren have both been listed as questionable.
The Nets were one of the worst teams in the NBA during the first month of the season, but they have played well over the last few months.
They are the fourth seed in the Eastern Conference with a 31-20 record in 51 games.
Right now, the Nets are only 3.5 games behind the Milwaukee Bucks for the second seed (and 5.0 games behind the Boston Celtics for first).
At home, they are 15-8 in 23 games at Barclays Center and 4-6 in their last ten games overall.
On Friday, Shams Charania of The Athletic and Stadium reported that All-Star point guard Kyrie Irving had requested a trade from the Nets.
Saturday will be the Nets' first game since the report came out, and Irving is not on the injury report.
Meanwhile, the Wizards are tied with the Chicago Bulls for the ninth seed in the east and have a 24-27 record in 51 games.
They are 7-3 in their last ten games but just 12-16 in the 28 games they have played on the road.
Last season, the Wizards missed the postseason, while the Nets lost in the first round of the NBA Playoffs.
