On Thursday evening, the Brooklyn Nets will face off against Cade Cunningham and the Detroit Pistons in Michigan.   

For the game, they will remain without one of their best players, as Cam Thomas has been ruled out.   

Thomas has missed each of the previous five games, so this will be his sixth straight out of the lineup.

Thomas is currently averaging 20.9 points, 2.9 rebounds and 2.7 assists per contest while shooting 43.7% from the field and 36.0% from the three-point range in 48 games. 

The Nets have had a tough season and are the 11th seed in the Eastern Conference with a 25-37 record in 62 games. 

They have gone 4-6 over their last ten games and most recently beat the Philadelphia 76ers by a score of 112-107.

Dennis Schroder led the way with 20 points and eight assists. 

Following their matchup with the Pistons, the Nets will play their next game on Saturday evening when they visit the Charlotte Hornets in North Carolina. 

As for the Pistons, they are the 14th seed in the Eastern Conference with a 9-52 record in 61 games. 

They have gone 1-9 over their last ten games and are also in the middle of a three-game losing streak. 

Most recently, the Pistons lost to the Miami Heat by a score of 118-110. 

Following the Nets, they will remain at home to host Kyrie Irving and the Dallas Mavericks on Saturday evening in Michigan.
