FINAL UPDATE: Cavs And Nets Injury Reports
FINAL UPDATE: Jarrett Allen is available.
On Tuesday evening, the Brooklyn Nets are hosting the Cleveland Cavaliers at Barclays Center in New York.
For the game, both teams have announced their injury reports (updated as of 4:30 Eastern Time).
The Cavs have ruled out Sam Merrill, Dylan Windler and Isaiah Mobley.
2022 NBA All-Star Jarrett Allen listed as questionable due to an eye injury.
As for the Nets, they have ruled out Ben Simmons, Dru Smith and David Duke Jr.
Dorian Finney-Smith has been upgraded to available.
The Cavs enter the evening with a 45-28 record in 73 games, which has them as the fourth seed in the Eastern Conference.
They are 7-3 in their last ten games but have struggled on the road, going just 16-20 in 36 games played outside of Ohio.
In 2022, the Cavs made the play-in tournament, but the franchise has not been to the NBA Playoffs since the 2018 season (when they still had LeBron James).
Meanwhile, the Nets are the sixth seed in the east with a 39-32 record in 71 games.
They are on a three-game losing streak and 5-5 in their last ten games.
At home, the Nets have been good, going 19-14 in the 33 games they have hosted at Barclays Center in New York.
Last season, they got swept in the first round of the NBA Playoffs by the Boston Celtics.
That said, the Nets have a much different roster after trading away superstars Kyrie Irving (Dallas Mavericks) and Kevin Durant (Phoenix Suns) earlier this season.
