Celtics And Hawks Final Injury Reports And Starting Lineups
On Thursday evening, the Atlanta Hawks will host the Boston Celtics for Game 6 of their first-round playoff series.
For the game, both teams have finalized their injury reports and starting lineups.
The Celtics have ruled out Danilo Gallinari, while All-Star forward Jaylen Brown is available.
Meanwhile, the Hawks have no one on their injury report for the contest.
The starting lineups for both teams have been relayed by Underdog NBA.
Underdog NBA: "Lineup alert: Celtics will start Smart, White, Brown, Tatum, Horford on Thursday."
Underdog NBA: "Lineup alert: Hawks will start Young, Murray, Hunter, Collins, Capela on Thursday."
The Celtics have a 3-2 lead in the series, so they can eliminate the Hawks with a victory.
That said, the Hawks are coming off an impressive 119-117 win in Game 5 on Tuesday evening (in Boston).
They avoided elimination because superstar point guard Trae Young made a game-winning three-pointer with 1.8 seconds left.
If the Hawks win Game 6, the final game of the series will be played back in Boston on Saturday.
On the road, the Celtics have gone 26-17, while the Hawks are 25-18 in 43 games hosted on their home floor at State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia.
Last year, the Hawks lost in the first round of the playoffs to the Miami Heat.
As for the Celtics, they lost to the Golden State Warriors in Game 6 of the 2022 NBA Finals.
Whoever wins the series will advance to the second round and face off against the Philadelphia 76ers (who swept the Brooklyn Nets in the first round).
