On Friday night, the Boston Celtics and New Orleans Pelicans are facing off in Louisiana, and for the game, the two teams have finalized their injury reports.

The Celtics will be without JD Davison, Danilo Gallinari, Marcus Smart, Robert Williams and Mfiondu Kabengele.

Malcolm Brogdon has been upgraded to available.

As for the Pelicans, they will be without Kira Lewis Jr., E.J. Liddell, Dereon Seabron and Zion Williamson.

NBA's official injury report

The Celtics are playing without Smart for the second straight game, while the Pelicans are playing without Williamson for the third consecutive game.

Coming into the night, the Celtics are the hottest team in the entire league.

They are 12-3 in their first 15 games and in the middle of an eight-game winning streak.

They are coming off a 126-101 win in Atlanta over the Hawks on Wednesday evening (they played without Smart).

On the road, they have been excellent, with a 6-2 record away from Massachusetts.

After making the NBA Finals last season, they looked just as good (if not better) this season.

The Pelicans come into the night in the middle of a three-game winning streak, which is impressive considering they have played without Williamson for two of those games.

They are tied with the Memphis Grizzlies for the fifth seed in the Western Conference.

Through the first 15 games, they have a 9-6 record.

At home, they have a 5-2 record in seven games in Louisiana.

If they can have a healthy season, they have a roster capable of being a top-four seed in the west.
