Chris Paul's Official Injury Status For Warriors-Wizards Game
On Tuesday evening, the Golden State Warriors will play the Washington Wizards in Washington, D.C.
For the game, the Warriors will have one of their best players back in action, as future Hall of Famer Chris Paul is not on the injury report.
Via Shams Charania of The Athletic and Stadium: "Warriors guard Chris Paul – out since Jan. 5 due to fractured hand – is listed as available to return Tuesday vs. Wizards."
Paul is in his first season with Golden State and is averaging 8.9 points, 3.8 rebounds, 7.2 assists and 1.1 steals per contest while shooting 42.4% from the field and 36.1% from the three-point range in 32 games.
The Warriors are the tenth seed in the Western Conference with a 29-27 record in 56 games.
They are 8-2 over their last ten games but most recently lost to Jamal Murray and the Denver Nuggets by a score of 116-103.
Following the Wizards, the Warriors will visit the New York Knicks at Madison Square Garden on Thursday evening in Manhattan.
As for the Wizards, they have struggled this season and are the 14th seed in the Eastern Conference with a 9-48 record in 57 games.
They are in the middle of an 11-game losing streak and are coming off a 114-105 loss to Donovan Mitchell and the Cleveland Cavaliers.
Following their matchup with Golden State, the Wizards will head on the road to face off against LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers on Thursday evening in California.
