UPDATE: CJ McCollum is available.

On Wednesday evening, the New Orleans Pelicans will host the Philadelphia 76ers in Louisiana.

For the game, CJ McCollum is listed as probable on the injury report.

ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski reports that McCollum will likely play in the game.

Via Wojnarowski: "New Orleans guard CJ McCollum is expected to make his return to the lineup vs. Philadelphia tonight, sources tell ESPN. He’s been out since Nov. 4 with a collapsed lung. The Pelicans are 5-7 without him."

McCollum has played in six games so far this season and is averaging 21.7 points, 4.8 rebounds, 5.7 assists and 1.5 steals per contest while shooting 44.0% from the field and 38.0% from the three-point range.

The Pelicans are 9-9 in their first 18 games, which has them as the ninth seed in the Western Conference.

They are in the middle of a two-game losing streak and are 5-5 over their previous ten games.

Most recently, the Pelicans lost to the Utah Jazz by a score of 114-112 in Salt Lake City on Monday.

Following the 76ers, they will play their next game on Friday when they host the San Antonio Spurs.

Pelicans reporter Jim Eichenhofer also reported more details on McCollum.

Via Eichenhofer: "McCollum said at shootaround (and in his podcast) that he's playing tonight. FYI he won't be cleared to fly late Friday to Chicago because it happens at the "four-week mark" from his lung injury. However, he WILL join team in Sacramento and plans to play Monday against the Kings"
