De'Aaron Fox's Injury Status For Trail Blazers-Kings Game

De'Aaron Fox has been ruled out for Wednesday's game.

On Wednesday evening, the Sacramento Kings will host the Portland Trail Blazers in California. 

For the game, they will be without their best player, as All-Star point guard De'Aaron Fox has been ruled out. 

Fox has missed the previous three games, so this will be his fourth straight out of the lineup.

Via Jason Anderson of the Sacramento Bee: "The Sacramento Kings have ruled out De'Aaron Fox (ankle) and Trey Lyles (calf) for Wednesday's game against the Portland Trail Blazers."

Fox has played in three games so far this season and is averaging 31.3 points, 4.3 rebounds, 6.0 assists and 1.3 steals per contest while shooting 48.6% from the field and 37.5% from the three-point range.

The Kings are 2-4 in their first six games and most recently lost 122-97 to the Houston Rockets.

They have gone 0-3 without Fox in the lineup. 

Fox is in his seventh season in the NBA and is coming off a year where he averaged 25.0 points, 4.2 rebounds, 6.1 assists and 1.1 steals per contest while shooting 51.2% from the field in 73 games.

The Kings were the third seed in the Western Conference and made the NBA playoffs for the first time since the 2006 season (they lost to the Golden State Warriors in the first round). 

Following the Trail Blazers, they will play their next game when they host the Detroit Pistons on Friday evening. 

As for the Trail Blazers, they are 3-4 in their first seven games and most recently lost to the Memphis Grizzlies by a score of 112-100.
