Denver Nuggets And Phoenix Suns Injury Reports For Game 3
On Friday evening, the Phoenix Suns are hosting the Denver Nuggets in Arizona for Game 3 of their second-round playoff series.
For the game, both teams have announced their injury reports.
The Suns have ruled out star point guard Chris Paul, and no one else is on the injury report for either team.
Playing without Paul will be tough because he is their floor general who sets up the offense.
Through the first seven games of the 2023 NBA Playoffs, the future Hall of Famer is averaging 12.4 points, 5.0 rebounds, 7.4 assists and 1.7 steals per contest while shooting 41.8% from the field.
He is no longer the superstar he once was but is still among the top point guards in the NBA.
The Nuggets have a 2-0 lead in the series after winning both Games 1 and 2 on their home floor.
They will have an excellent chance to take total control of the series with a victory on Friday night.
That said, a win for the Suns puts them right back in the series with Game 4 back in Arizona on Sunday night.
In the first round, the Nuggets beat the Minnesota Timberwolves in five games, while the Suns eliminated the Los Angeles Clippers (also in five games).
Both teams have the talent to take home the 2023 NBA Championship, and the winner of the series will advance to the Western Conference Finals to face off against either the Los Angels Lakers or the Golden State Warriors.
