Devin Booker's Final Injury Status For Suns-Warriors Game

According to Duane Rankin of azcentral, Devin Booker will play in Tuesday's game.

On Tuesday evening, Devin Booker and the Phoenix Suns will play their first game of the 2023-24 regular season on the road against the Golden State Warriors at the Chase Center in San Francisco.

For the game, Booker had been listed as questionable, but he says he will play.

Via Duane Rankin of azcentral: "Devin Booker said he jammed his left big toe in last week's practice.

"Just practice. A little jammed in practice. People forget that we do practice every day. It does happen."

Booker said he'll play in Phoenix Suns opener Tuesday at Golden State Warriors. #Suns #DubNation"

Booker has become one of the best shooting guards in the league and is coming off a sensational year where he averaged 27.8 points, 4.5 rebounds, 5.5 assists and 1.0 steals per contest while shooting 49.4% from the field and 35.1% from the three-point range in 53 games.

He also appeared in 11 NBA playoff games, as the Suns lost to the Denver Nuggets in the second round of the playoffs (in six games).

When Booker first came into the league, the Suns were one of the worst teams, but they have now made the NBA playoffs for three straight seasons (and the NBA Finals in 2021).

Meanwhile, the Warriors have one of the best teams in the NBA led by Steph Curry, and are coming off a season where they lost to LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers in the second round of the playoffs (in six games).
