Devin Booker's Official Status For Suns-Lakers Game
On Friday night, the Phoenix Suns will be in California to face off with the Los Angeles Lakers.
However, they will be without superstar shooting guard Devin Booker, who has been ruled out due to rest.
Underdog NBA: "Devin Booker (rest) ruled out Friday."
The former Kentucky star is in the middle of a sensational season with averages of 27.8 points, 4.5 rebounds, 5.5 assists and 1.0 steals per contest in 53 games.
He is also shooting 49.4% from the field and 35.1% from the three-point range.
In addition to his dominant play, the Suns have been one of the best teams in the NBA.
They are the fourth seed in the Western Conference with a 45-35 record in 80 games.
Over the last ten games, the Suns have gone 7-3, and they are in the middle of a seven-game winning streak.
On the road, they have struggled in a big way, going just 17-23 in the 40 games they have played away from Arizona.
In 2021, Booker helped lead the Suns to the NBA Finals, and last year they lost in the second round of the NBA Playoffs to the Dallas Mavericks in seven games.
As for the Lakers, they are the seventh seed (one of the four play-in tournament spots) in the west with a 41-39 record in 80 games.
Over the last ten games, they have gone 7-3, and they are a solid 21-18 in the 39 games they have hosted on their home floor in Los Angeles, California.
