UPDATE: Donovan Mitchell has been ruled out.

On Saturday evening, the Cleveland Cavaliers are hosting the Indiana Pacers in Ohio.

The Cavs are 1-1 in their first two games but are coming off a 108-105 loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder on Friday (at home).

For Saturday's game, they could be without their best player, as Donovan Mitchell is listed as questionable.

Via Underdog NBA: "Donovan Mitchell (hamstring) listed questionable Saturday."

Mitchell played in the team's first two games, and on Friday against the Thunder, he had 43 points, eight rebounds, five assists, three steals and two blocks in 42 minutes of playing time.

He is in his second season with Cleveland and is coming off a sensational year where he averaged 28.3 points, 4.2 rebounds, 4.4 assists and 1.5 steals per contest while shooting 48.4% from the field and 38.6% from the three-point range.

The Cavs made the NBA playoffs (as the fourth seed) for the first time since the 2018 season but lost to the New York Knicks in the first round (in five games).

That said, they have a very talented roster and will likely remain among the best teams in the Eastern Conference.

Meanwhile, the Pacers are coming off a 143-120 victory over the Washington Wizards (at home) on Wednesday.

2023 NBA Champion Bruce Brown Jr. led the team with 24 points, and an impressive eight players scored in double-digits.

Last season, the Pacers were the 11th seed in the Eastern Conference, so they missed the NBA playoffs for the third straight year.
