On Friday evening, the Golden State Warriors will face off with the Sacramento Kings (on the road).

For the game, they will remain without one of their best players, as Draymond Green has been ruled out.

Via Underdog NBA: "Kerr: Draymond Green (ankle) ruled out for Friday."

Green also missed the first game of the season against the Phoenix Suns (on Tuesday night at home).

The contest was close, but the Warriors lost to the Suns by a score of 108-104 (who were also playing without Bradley Beal).

Devin Booker led the way with 32 points for the Suns, while Steph Curry had 27 for Golden State.

Green is coming off a year where he averaged 8.5 points, 7.2 rebounds, 6.8 assists and 1.0 steals per contest while shooting 52.7% from the field and 30.5% from the three-point range.

The former Michigan State star doesn't put up big numbers, but he is one of the most important players on the team (and their best defender).

He has spent his entire career with Golden State and helped them win four NBA Championships over the previous nine seasons.

Last year, the Warriors lost to the Los Angeles Lakers in the second round of the NBA playoffs (in six games).

As for the Kings, they played their first game of the season on Wednesday when they beat the Utah Jazz (in Salt Lake City) by a score of 130-114.

Harrison Barnes led the way with 33 points in 33 minutes of playing time.
