Giannis Antetokounmpo’s Injury Status In Bucks-Bulls Game

Giannis Antetokounmpo has been ruled out for the remainder of Thursday’s game.

On Thursday night, the Milwaukee Bucks are in Illinois, taking on the Chicago Bulls at the United Center.

During the game, their best player Giannis Antetokounmpo got injured, and the team announced that he would not return for the remainder of the night.

Bucks: "Giannis Antetokounmpo will NOT return to tonight’s game due to a right wrist sprain."

The two-time MVP exited the game after playing nine minutes and putting up two points, seven rebounds and three assists.

He is in the middle of a tremendous season with averages of 32.5 points, 12.3 rebounds and 5.5 assists per contest while shooting 54.0% from the field.

As for the Bucks, they came into the night in the middle of an 11-game winning streak (the longest in the NBA).

They are the second seed in the Eastern Conference with a 40-17 record in 57 games (just one game behind the Boston Celtics for the first seed).

In 2021, Antetokounmpo led the Bucks to the NBA Championship, and last season they lost in Game 7 of the second round (they beat the Bulls in the first round).

Antetokounmpo is in his tenth season in the NBA (all with the Bucks) and is already one of the greatest players of all-time.

He is an NBA Champion, Finals MVP, Defensive Player of The Year and seven-time All-Star.

At just 28 years old, the future Hall of Famer has the potential to go down as one of the top-25 players to ever play in the NBA.
