On the road, the team has struggled, going just 17-24 in the 41 games they have played away from State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia.
The franchise has made the NBA Playoffs in each of the last two seasons and made the Eastern Conference Finals in 2021.
Last season, they lost to the Miami Heat in the first round in five games.
As for the Heat, they finished the year as the seventh seed with a 44-38 record.
They are 6-4 over their last ten games and a sensational 24-17 in the 41 games they hosted on their home floor in Miami, Florida.
Last year, they lost in Game 7 of the Eastern Conference Finals to the Boston Celtics in seven games.
The winner of Tuesday's game will become the seventh seed and face off with the Celtics in the first round of the playoffs.
Meanwhile, the loser will host the final play-in tournament game against either the Chicago Bulls or Toronto Raptors.
