Huge News Regarding Jaylen Brown Reported Before Celtics-Raptors Game

Boston Celtics All-Star Jaylen Brown received five stitches for a cut on his right hand and will miss Boston's final two regular season games.

The Boston Celtics are once again one of the top teams in the NBA and All-Star Jaylen Brown is a big reason why.

Brown has had one of the best seasons of his career, but he will be forced to miss the team's final two games of the regular season.

According to The Athletic's Jared Weiss, Brown cut his right hand picking up a glass vase he knocked over on Thursday night at his home and had to receive five stiches.

The Celtics have ruled Jaylen Brown out for their final two regular season games due to the cut on his hand and Brown told reporters ahead of Friday's game against the Toronto Raptors that he hopes to be ready for the team's first playoff game.

This could wind up being a significant development for Boston and their chances of making it back to the NBA Finals, as having Brown on the floor and healthy is essential.

In 67 games this season, the All-Star wing has averaged 26.6 points, 6.9 rebounds and 3.5 assists per game while shooting 49.1 percent from the floor.

Locked in to the 2-seed in the Eastern Conference, the Celtics will be playing the winner of the 7-seed versus 8-seed game in the Eastern Conference Play-In Tournament.

Those teams have yet to be determined, but it is likely the Celtics will play either the Miami Heat or Atlanta Hawks in the first-round of the playoffs.

An update on Jaylen Brown's status will likely be given by the Celtics sometime in the upcoming week.
