Jaylen Brown's Status For Celtics-Cavs Game
On Monday night, the Boston Celtics will be in Ohio to face off with the Cleveland Cavaliers.
For the game, they will have one of their best players in the starting lineup, as Jaylen Brown has been listed as available.
The former Cal star is in the middle of another outstanding season with averages of 26.5 points, 6.9 rebounds, 3.2 assists and 1.2 steals per contest in 53 games (while shooting 48.7% from the field).
On Sunday night, the Celtics lost in overtime (131-129) to the New York Knicks.
Brown played 47 minutes and had 29 points, eight rebounds, one assist, four steals and one block.
Right now, the Celtics are the second seed in the Eastern Conference with a 45-20 record in 65 games.
They are in the middle of a two-game losing streak but are still 6-4 in their last ten games.
On the road, the Celtics are an outstanding 20-11 in the 31 games they have played outside of Boston.
As for the Cavs, they are in the middle of a great season with a 40-26 record in 66 games.
They are 6-4 in their last ten games and an unbelievable 27-7 in the 34 games they have hosted at home in Ohio.
Last season, the Celtics made the NBA Finals, and they will have an excellent chance to return there in 2023.
Meanwhile, the Cavs have not been to the NBA Playoffs since 2018 (when they had LeBron James), but the drought will likely end this season.
