On Friday evening, the Boston Celtics are hosting the Miami Heat for Game 2 of the Eastern Conference Finals.

For the game, they will have their All-Star forward in the starting lineup, as Jaylen Brown is listed as available on the injury report.

NBA's official injury report

The former Cal star has been one of the best players in the league this season and has averages of 24.4 points, 5.6 rebounds and 3.5 assists per contest while shooting 53.6% from he field and 44.7% from the three-point range through the first 14 games of the 2023 NBA Playoffs.

The Celtics are down 1-0 in the series after losing Game 1 on Wednesday night (also in Boston) by a score of 123-116.

Brown had 22 points, nine rebounds and five assists in 39 minutes of playing time.

However, Jimmy Butler was the star of the night with 35 points, five rebounds, seven assists and six steals.

With Games 3 and 4 in Miami, the Celtics will need a victory to avoid falling into an 0-2 hole before going on the road.

This is the third time in the previous four seasons that the two teams have faced off in the Eastern Conference Finals.

In 2020, the Heat won, while last season, the Celtics won in Game 7 (both teams lost in the NBA Finals).

Whoever wins the series will advance to the 2023 NBA Finals and face off against either the Denver Nuggets or the Los Angeles Lakers (the Nuggets have a 2-0 lead in the series).
