On Monday evening, the Boston Celtics had their season come to an end when they lost Game 7 of the Eastern Conference Finals to the Miami Heat by a score of 103-84 (on their home floor).

On the first play of the game, All-Star forward Jayson Tatum hurt his ankle, but he stayed in the game and played 42 minutes (he finished with 14 points, 11 rebounds, four assists and one steal on 5/13 shooting from the field).

After the game, the former Duke star met with the media and was asked about the injury.

Reporter: "Jayson, can you take us through the first play? What happened with your ankle, and how did that impact you for the rest of the game?"

Tatum: "I saw the video, I saw it after the game that I came down on my ankle, and it's tough because it kinda impacted me the rest of the night. It swelled up, and It was just frustrating that I was kind of like a shell of myself. It was tough to move. It was just frustrating, especially that s*** happened on the first play."

He was seen limping off the podium and the clip has gone viral on Twitter.

Tatum finished his sixth season in the NBA with averages of 30.1 points, 8.8 rebounds, 4.6 assists and 1.1 steals per contest.

He has been to the Conference Finals four times (and the NBA Finals once) but has yet to win a title.

The Celtics last won the NBA Championship during the 2008 season when they still had Paul Pierce and Kevin Garnett on the roster.

As for the Heat, they will advance to the NBA Finals for the second time in the previous four seasons.
