Jayson Tatum's Status For Pistons-Celtics Game

Jayson Tatum is available for Wednesday’s game.

On Wednesday evening, the Boston Celtics are hosting the Detroit Pistons in Massachusetts.

For the game, they will have their best player available, as Jayson Tatum is not on the injury report.

Tatum missed Tuesday’s 131-125 loss to the Milwaukee Bucks in Wisconsin.

Underdog NBA: "Jayson Tatum (illness) will play Wednesday."

The former Duke star is having a sensational season with averages of 30.5 points, 8.6 rebounds, 4.5 assists and 1.1 steals per contest in 54 games (while shooting 46.1% from the field).

Tatum has established himself as one of the best players in the league and has made the NBA All-Star Game four times in a row.

After making the NBA Finals for the first time since 2010 (in 2022), the Celtics appear to be on track to getting back there this year.

They are the best team in the NBA, with a 41-17 record in 58 games.

Over the last ten games, the Celtics have gone 6-4, and they are 23-7 in the 30 games they have hosted at home in Boston.

Despite their stellar play, the Celtics only have a half-game lead over the Bucks for first.

As for the Pistons, they are in rebuilding mode, so they are having a tough season.

Right now, they are 15-43 in 58 games, which has them as the 15th seed (last place) in the Eastern Conference.

The Pistons are 3-7 in their last ten games and 7-22 in the 29 games they have played on the road away from Michigan.
