On Wednesday evening, the Philadelphia 76ers will host the Boston Celtics.
For the game, they could be without their best player, as Joel Embiid is on the injury report.

Embiid is currently averaging 33.1 points, 11.7 rebounds, 5.7 assists and 1.9 blocks per contest while shooting 50.5% from the field and 32.4% from the three-point range.
The 76ers are 8-2 in their first ten games and had their eight-game winning streak snapped by the Indiana Pacers on Tuesday evening.
They lost by a score of 132-126, and Embiid had 39 points, 12 rebounds, six assists and three steals while shooting 11/22 from the field in 38 minutes of playing time.
Embiid is in his eighth season in the league and is coming off a year where he won the 2023 MVP.
The former Kansas star averaged 33.1 points, 10.2 rebounds, 4.2 assists, 1.0 steals and 1.7 blocks per contest while shooting 54.8% from the field.
Following the Celtics, the 76ers will play their next game against Trae Young and the Atlanta Hawks on Friday evening at State Farm Arena in Georgia.
As for the Celtics, they are also 8-2 in their first ten games and tied with the 76ers for the first seed in the Eastern Conference.
They are in the middle of a three-game winning streak and most recently defeated the New York Knicks by a score of 114-98.
