UPDATE: Joel Embiid has been ruled out, according to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski and Ramona Shelburne.

On Monday night, the Philadelphia 76ers will be in Colorado to face off with the Denver Nuggets.

For the game, they could be without one of their best players, as All-Star center Joel Embiid is on the injury report listed as questionable (calf).

Underdog NBA: "Joel Embiid (calf) listed questionable for Monday."

Embiid is in the middle of another fantastic season with averages of 33.3 points, 10.2 rebounds, 4.2 assists, 1.1 steals and 1.7 blocks per contest in 61 games.

He is also shooting 54.5% from the field and 34.1% from the three-point range.

The former Kansas star will have an excellent chance to win the 2023 MVP Award.

In addition to his stellar play, the 76ers are one of the best teams in the NBA.

They are the third seed in the Eastern Conference with a 49-25 record in 74 games and just 2.5 games back of the Boston Celtics for the second seed.

Over the last ten games, they are 7-3, but the 76ers are also on a two-game losing streak.

As for the Nuggets, they are the best team in the Western Conference, with a 50-24 record in 74 games.

They are 5-5 in their last ten games and in the middle of a three-game winning streak.

On the road, the 76ers have gone 23-14 in the 37 games they have played outside of Philadelphia, while the Nuggets are an outstanding 31-6 in the 37 games they have hosted on their home floor in Denver.

Both teams have the talent to make a deep run in the 2023 NBA Playoffs.
