On Monday evening, the Washington Wizards will be in Michigan to face off against the Detroit Pistons.
For the game, they could be without one of their best players, as Jordan Poole is on the injury report.
Via Josh Robbins of The Athletic: "The Wizards have listed Jordan Poole as questionable to play Monday night in Detroit because of a sprained left ankle. Poole sat out Saturday's loss to the Hawks. Ryan Rollins and Delon Wright remain out."
Poole is averaging 17.7 points, 2.7 rebounds, 3.6 assists and 1.1 steals per contest while shooting 39.9% from the field and 28.6% from the three-point range in 15 games.
The Wizards are 2-14 in their first 16 games, which has them as the 15th seed in the Eastern Conference.
They are in the middle of a nine-game losing streak and most recently lost to Trae Young and the Atlanta Hawks by a score of 136-108 (Poole did not play in the game).
This is Poole's first season with the Wizards after getting traded (via the Golden State Warriors) over the offseason.
Poole spent the first four seasons of his career with the Warriors and helped them win the 2022 NBA Championship.
Following the Pistons, the Wizards will play their next game against the Orlando Magic (on Wednesday) in Florida.
As for the Pistons, they are 2-14 in their first 16 games, which has them as the 14th seed in the east.
They are in the middle of a 13-game losing streak and most recently lost to the Indiana Pacers by a score of 136-113.
