Jordan Poole's Final Injury Status For Kings-Warriors Game
On Thursday night, the Golden State Warriors are hosting the Sacramento Kings at the Chase Center for Game 3 of their first-round playoff series.
For the game, they will have one of their best players available as head coach Steve Kerr said that Jordan Poole will play (video via Anthony Slater of The Athletic).
Poole averaged a productive 20.4 points, 2.7 rebounds and 4.5 assists per contest while shooting 43.0% from the field during the regular season.
The former Michigan star has played in all 84 games this season (including Games 1 and 2), so his streak of availability will continue.
So far, Poole has struggled in the series and has just 21 points on 5/17 shooting in the first two games combined.
The Warriors are also in an 0-2 hole after losing Games 1 and 2 in Sacramento, so they will need a victory on Thursday night.
They finished the season as the sixth seed in the Western Conference and had a 44-38 record.
On the road, the Warriors have been one of the worst teams in the league, but at home, they have gone 33-8 in the 41 games they have hosted at the Chase Center in San Francisco.
As for the Kings, they have been one of the best surprises of the 2022-23 season.
They ended a 16-year playoff drought and finished as the third seed in the west with a 48-34 record.
The winner of the series will play either the Los Angeles Lakers or Memphis Grizzlies in the second round.
