UPDATE: Kevon Looney's Status For Mavs-Warriors Game

Kevon Looney is on the injury report for Saturday's game.

On Saturday evening, the Golden State Warriors will host the Dallas Mavericks at the Chase Center in San Francisco. 

For the game, the Warriors could be without one of their best players, as Kevon Looney is on the injury report. 

Via Anthony Slater of The Athletic on Friday: "Kevon Looney is questionable for tomorrow’s game against the Mavericks. General illness. Looney has a streak of 223 consecutive games played. Gary Payton II has been officially cleared for his return."

Looney has played in all 31 games so far this season and is averaging 5.3 points, 7.7 rebounds and 2.6 assists per contest while shooting 57.5% from the field.  

He is one of the team's best role players and has started in 28 out of his 31 games. 

The Warriors are the 11th seed in the Western Conference with a 15-16 record in their first 31 games. 

They are 5-5 over their last ten games and in the middle of a two-game losing streak. 

Most recently, the Warriors lost to the Miami Heat by a score of 114-102. 

In 14 minutes of playing time, Looney had five points, five rebounds and one block while shooting 2/2 from the field.

At home, the Warriors are 9-7 in the 16 games they have hosted at the Chase Center. 

As for the Mavs, they are the sixth seed in the Western Conference with an 18-14 record in their first 32 games. 

They are 4-6 over their last ten games and in the middle of a two-game losing streak. 

On the road, the Mavs are 10-7 in 17 games.
