The Kings are coming off an impressive regular season where they were the third seed in the Western Conference with a 48-34 record.
They made the NBA playoffs for the first time since the 2006 season but lost to the Golden State Warriors in the first round (in seven games).
That said, the Kings will likely be among the best teams in the west again this year.
As for the Jazz, they were competitive to start the 2022-23 season, but fell off in the second half and were the 12th seed in the west with a 37-45 record.
They missed the NBA playoffs for the first time in six seasons.
Over the offseason, the Jazz acquired John Collins in a trade with the Atlanta Hawks so he could be a big part of the team.
