Knicks Final Injury Report And Starting Lineup Against The Cavs
On Saturday night, the New York Knicks will be in Ohio to face off with the Cleveland Cavaliers for Game 1 of their first-round playoff series.
For the game, the Knicks have finalized their injury report and starting lineup.
Isaiah Roby has been ruled out, while All-Star forward Julius Randle has been upgraded to available (he will make his return to the lineup for the first time since March).
The starting lineup for the Knicks has been relayed by Underdog NBA.
Underdog NBA: "Lineup alert: Knicks will start Brunson, Grimes, Barrett, Randle, Robinson on Saturday."
Last year, the Knicks missed the NBA Playoffs, but they were the fourth seed in 2021.
This season, they finished as the fifth seed and had a 47-35 record.
Over the final ten games of the regular season, the Knicks went 5-5, and they have an impressive 24-17 record in the 41 games they have played on the road away from Madison Square Garden.
As for the Cavs, they are back in the postseason for the first time since the 2018 season when they still had LeBron James.
They finished as the fourth seed and had a 51-31 record.
At home, the Cavs were fantastic, going 31-10 in the 41 games they hosted in Ohio.
The two teams faced off three times in the regular season, and the Knicks went 3-1 (they won each of the last three).
There is an excellent chance that the series will be one of the most competitive in the first round.
