UPDATE: Kyrie Irving's Injury Status For Mavs-Knicks Game

Kyrie Irving is on the injury report for Thursday's game.

UPDATE: Kyrie Irving is available.  

On Thursday evening, the Dallas Mavericks will face off against the New York Knicks at Madison Square Garden in Manhattan.  

For the game, Kyrie Irving is on the injury report, but he is listed as probable, so he should be available.

Irving has played in 29 games and is averaging 25.5 points, 5.0 rebounds, 5.4 assists and 1.4 steals per contest while shooting 48.2% from the field and 42.4% from the three-point range.  

The Mavs are the eighth seed in the Western Conference and have a 28-23 record in 51 games. 

They are in the middle of a two-game winning streak and are coming off a 119-107 victory over the Brooklyn Nets (at Barclays Center in New York). 

In 40 minutes of playing time, Irving had 36 points, two rebounds, five assists and two steals while shooting 15/24 from the field and 6/10 from the three-point range. 

After the Knicks, the Mavs will head back to Dallas for a showdown with Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and the Oklahoma City Thunder on Saturday afternoon. 

As for the Knicks, they have been among the best teams in the NBA and are the fourth seed in the Eastern Conference with a 33-18 record in 51 games. 

They are 9-1 over their last ten games and most recently defeated the Memphis Grizzlies by a score of 123-113 (at home). 

Following the Mavs, the Knicks will host the Indiana Pacers on Saturday evening at Madison Square Garden.
