On Wednesday evening, the Los Angeles Clippers are hosting the Los Angeles Lakers. 

For the game, both teams have finalized their injury reports and starting lineups. 

The Lakers have ruled out Cole Swider and Scotty Pippen Jr.      

Meanwhile, Mo Bamba, LeBron James, Anthony Davis and D'Angelo Russell have all been upgraded to available.  

As for the Clippers, they will be without Paul George and Marcus Morris Sr. 

Veteran guard Eric Gordon has been upgraded to available. 

NBA's official injury report 

The starting lineups for both teams have been relayed by Underdog NBA.  

Underdog NBA: "Lineup alert: Lakers will start Russell, Reaves, James, Vanderbilt, Davis on Wednesday."

Underdog NBA: "Lineup alert: Clippers will start Westbrook, Gordon, Leonard, Batum, Zubac on Wednesday."

The Lakers come into the night as one of the hottest teams in the league. 

They are 7-3 in their last ten games and in the middle of a four-game winning streak. 

Currently, the Lakers are tied with the Clippers for the sixth seed (the final guaranteed playoff spot) in the Western Conference and have a 41-38 record in 79 games. 

The Clippers are also 41-38 and have gone 5-5 in their last ten games. 

They are in the middle of a two-game losing streak and 21-18 in the 39 games they have hosted on their home floor. 

Whoever wins Wednesday's matchup will have sole possession of the sixth seed, so this is the biggest game of the season for the two teams. 

Last year, both the Lakers and Clippers missed the NBA Playoffs.
