The Lakers come into the matchup as the 12th seed in the Western Conference with a 29-32 record in 61 games.

They are in the middle of a three-game winning streak and are 6-4 in their last ten games.

On the road, the Lakers have gone 14-18 in 32 games.

In their most recent game, they beat the Dallas Mavericks on Sunday afternoon (in Texas) and overcame a 27-point deficit.

Over their last ten games, they have gone 5-5, and the Grizzlies are an outstanding 25-5 in the 30 games they have hosted at home in Tennessee.

Last season, the Lakers missed the postseason, while the Grizzlies lost in the second round of the NBA Playoffs.
