The Los Angeles Lakers and Houston Rockets have announced their injury reports.

UPDATE: Anthony Davis and Jaxson Hayes have been ruled out.  

On Wednesday evening, the Los Angeles Lakers and Houston Rockets will face off in Texas.  

For the game, both teams have announced their injury reports. 

The Lakers have ruled out Gabe Vincent, Jarred Vanderbilt and Jalen Hood-Schifino. 

Anthony Davis and Jaxson Hayes are both questionable, while Rui Hachimura is available.  

Meanwhile, the Rockets will be without Nate Hinton, Victor Oladipo, Jermaine Samuels Jr., Amen Thompson and Cam Whitmore. 

Tari Eason is available.

The Lakers come into the evening with a 3-4 record in their first seven games and most recently lost to the Miami Heat by a score of 108-107. 

LeBron James led the way with 30 points, four rebounds, three assists, one steal and three blocks while shooting 13/23 from the field in 37 minutes of playing time.

Following the Rockets, the Lakers will play their next game against the Phoenix Suns in Arizona on Friday evening. 

As for the Rockets, they are 3-3 in their first six games and most recently defeated the Sacramento Kings by a score of 122-97. 

Jalen Green led the team with 23 points in 26 minutes of playing time. 

Following the Lakers, the Rockets will play their next game against the New Orleans Pelicans (at home) on Friday. 

Last season, the Lakers were the seventh seed in the Western Conference and made the Conference Finals for the first time since the 2020 season. 

The Rockets were the 14th seed in the west with a 22-60 record and missed the NBA playoffs for the third straight season.
