On Friday night, the Los Angeles Lakers are hosting the Dallas Mavericks in California. 

For the game, they have announced their injury report (updated as of 5:30 Eastern Time). 

The Lakers have ruled out Scotty Pippen Jr., LeBron James, Cole Swider and Mo Bamba. 

Eight-time NBA All-Star Anthony Davis is probable.

Right now, the Lakers are 34-36 in 70 games, which has them tied with the Oklahoma City Thunder for the ninth seed in the Western Conference. 

They are 6-4 in their last ten games and 18-16 in the 34 games they have hosted on their home floor in Los Angeles, California. 

The Lakers are in one of the final two play-in tournament spots and just 2.0 games behind the Golden State Warriors for the sixth seed (the final guaranteed playoff spot). 

They won the NBA Championship in 2020 but have also missed the playoffs in two out of the last four seasons. 

As for the Mavs, they are 35-35 in 70 games, which has them tied with the Minnesota Timberwolves for the seventh seed in the Western Conference. 

Over the last ten games, they are 4-6, and the Mavs are 13-21 in the 34 games they have played on the road away from Dallas, Texas. 

The two teams last faced off in February (in Texas) and the Lakers won 111-108. 

Davis led the way with 30 points, 15 rebounds and four assists in 37 minutes of playing time. 

Luka Doncic put up 29 points, six rebounds and five assists in 36 minutes for the Mavs.
