LaMelo Ball's Official Injury Status For Hornets-Jazz Game

On Thursday evening, the Charlotte Hornets will be in Salt Lake City to face off against the Utah Jazz.
For the game, the Hornets will remain without their best player, as LaMelo Ball has been ruled out.
The 2022 NBA All-Star has missed each of the previous 11 games, so this will be his 12th straight out of the lineup.

Ball has played in 22 games this season and is averaging 23.9 points, 5.1 rebounds, 8.0 assists and 1.8 steals per contest while shooting 43.3% from the field and 35.5% from the three-point range.
The Hornets are the 13th seed in the Eastern Conference with a 13-41 record in 54 games.
They are 3-7 over their last ten games but are also in the middle of a three-game winning streak.
Most recently, the Hornets beat Trae Young and the Atlanta Hawks by a score of 122-99.
Star rookie Brandon Miller led the team with 26 points.
Following the Jazz, the Hornets will play their next game on Friday evening when they visit Steph Curry and the Golden State Warriors at the Chase Center.

As for the Jazz, they are the 11th seed in the Western Conference with a 26-30 record in 56 games.
They are 3-7 over their last ten games and are in the middle of a four-game losing streak.
Following the Hornets, the Jazz will host the San Antonio Spurs on Sunday evening.
