LeBron James And Anthony Davis' Final Injury Status For Lakers-Grizzlies Game
On Wednesday evening, the Los Angeles Lakers will be in Tennessee to face off with the Memphis Grizzlies for Game 5 of their first-round playoff series.
For the game, they will have their two best players in the starting lineup, as LeBron James and Anthony Davis have both been upgraded to available.
Via Mike Trudell of Spectrum SportsNet: "LeBron, AD and Schröder have all been officially upgraded from probable to available for Game 5. Same starting five."
Through the first four games of the series, Davis is averaging 19.5 points, 12.3 rebounds, 2.5 assists, 1.8 steals and 4.8 blocks per contest.
As for James, he is averaging 24.0 points, 13.0 rebounds, 5.0 assists, 1.0 steals and 1.8 blocks per contest while shooting 49.4% from the field.
The Lakers have a 3-1 lead in the series, so if they win Game 5, they will eliminate the Grizzlies from the NBA Playoffs.
If the Grizzlies are able to stay alive, then Game 6 will be back in Los Angeles on Friday.
The two teams split Games 1 and 2 in Memphis, and then the Lakers won both Games 3 and 4 on their home floor.
On the road, the Lakers have gone 21-22, while the Grizzlies are a very impressive 36-7 in the 43 games they have hosted in Memphis, Tennessee.
Last year, the Grizzlies lost in the second round of the playoffs, while the Lakers missed the postseason.
Whoever wins the series will advance to the second round and face off against either the Golden State Warriors or Sacramento Kings.
