UPDATE: LeBron James' Current Injury Status For Bulls-Lakers Game

LeBron James is on the injury report for Thursday's game.

On Thursday evening. the Los Angeles Lakers will host the Chicago Bulls in California. 

For the game, the Lakers could be without their best player, as four-time NBA Champion LeBron James is on the injury report. 

James missed the team's last game, so this would be his second straight out of the lineup (if he doesn't play).

James has played in 40 games and is currently averaging 24.8 points, 7.2 rebounds, 7.4 assists and 1.3 steals per contest while shooting 52.0% from the field and 39.1% from the three-point range.   

The Lakers are the ninth seed in the Western Conference with a 22-23 record in their first 45 games.  

They are 5-5 over their last ten games and most recently lost to Kawhi Leonard and the Los Angeles Clippers (as the road team) by a score of 127-116. 

Following the Bulls, the Lakers will travel to San Francisco to face off against Klay Thompson and the Golden State Warriors on Saturday evening at the Chase Center. 

As for the Bulls, they are the ninth seed in the Eastern Conference with a 21-24 record in their first 45 games.  

They are 6-4 over their last ten games and most recently lost to Devin Booker and the Phoenix Suns (on the road) by a score of 115-113. 

Following Los Angeles, the Bulls will remain on the road to face off against Anfernee Simons and the Portland Trail Blazers on Sunday evening in Oregon.
