UPDATE: LeBron James' Current Status For Lakers-Timberwolves Game

LeBron James is on the injury report for Saturday's game.

On Saturday evening, the Los Angeles Lakers will face off against the Minnesota Timberwolves at the Target Center. 

LeBron James is celebrating his 39th birthday, but the future Hall of Famer is also listed as questionable for the contest.  

Via ESPN's Dave McMenamin: "LeBron James is questionable tonight in MIN with a non-COVID illness, per the Lakers."

James has played in 29 games so far this season and has averages of 25.1 points, 7.6 rebounds, 7.4 assists and 1.5 steals per contest while shooting 53.9% from the field and 41.3% from the three-point range.  

The Lakers are the eighth seed in the Western Conference with a 17-15 record in their first 32 games. 

They are 4-6 over their last ten games and most recently defeated the Charlotte Hornets by a score of 133-112. 

In 25 minutes of playing time, James had 17 points, four rebounds and 11 assists while shooting 7/13 from the field and 2/5 from the three-point range. 

Following the Timberwolves, the Lakers will travel to New Orleans to face off against Zion Williamson and the New Orleans Pelicans on Sunday. 

As for the Timberwolves, they are the first seed in the Western Conference with a 23-7 record in their first 30 games. 

They are 7-3 over their last ten games and most recently defeated the Dallas Mavericks by a score of 118-110. 

Following the Lakers, the Timberwolves will travel to New York City to face off against the New York Knicks on Monday at Madison Square Garden.
