LeBron James' Final Injury Status For Lakers-Warriors Game

LeBron James has been upgraded to available for Game 5.

On Wednesday evening, the Los Angeles Lakers will be at the Chase Center to face off with the Golden State Warriors in San Francisco for Game 5 of their second-round playoff series.

For the game, they will have their best player in the starting lineup, as LeBron James has been upgraded to available.

Via Ryan Ward of Lakers Nation: "Lakers say Anthony Davis (right foot stress injury) and LeBron James (right foot soreness) have been upgraded to AVAILABLE for tonight’s game at Golden State."

James has been listed as probable in each game of the series but has been upgraded to available every time.

The four-time NBA Champion is 38 but still remains among the ten best players in the league.

He comes into the night with averages of 22.6 points, 10.2 rebounds, 5.2 assists and 1.3 blocks per contest through the first ten games of the 2023 NBA Playoffs.

The Lakers have a 3-1 lead over the Warriors, so a victory on Wednesday night would end the series.

In the first round, they defeated the Memphis Grizzlies (who were the second seed) in six games.

They are the seventh seed in the Western Conference and finished the regular season with a 43-39 record.

That said, they have an extremely talented roster and will have a legitimate chance to win the 2023 NBA Championship.

James is in his 20th season in the league (and his fifth playing for the Lakers).

He led them to the 2020 NBA Championship over the Miami Heat.

Whoever wins the Lakers-Warriors series will advance to the Western Conference Finals.
